في هذا الفيلم لعب عادل امام دور مواطن مصري بخيت الذي فرط في في كل ما يملك للهجرة الي الولايات المتحدة. في هاذه الرحلة رافقته زوجته عديلة . خطط بخيت للعيش مؤقتا في منزل نوفل( صديق قديم لبخيت يعيش في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية منذ مدة). أول فوجئت بخيت بالشعب الامريكى ، اين امال له قيمة أكبر من أي شيء آخر. بخيت تعرض لحادث مرور، و اكتشف أن المرأة التي كانة تقود السيارة هي ابنة المرشح للرئسة . بخيت طلب الكثير من امال من أجل الحفاظ علي الصمت . في نهاية المطاف وجد عادل امام نفسه بدون نقود
